Return & Credit of Goods
At GetBrother.com.au, we get that sometimes things just don’t go right. If you receive a faulty, incorrect, or damaged product, simply contact us at info@getbrother.com.au within 7 days of delivery to request a Return Authorisation (RA) number. No returns will be accepted without an RA number.
Products must be returned in original condition — unopened, unused, and in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and cables. Any items that are opened, written on, taped, labelled, or damaged will not be accepted for return or credit.
Return shipping is the responsibility of the sender unless otherwise agreed in writing. Once your RA is approved, we’ll provide the return address and instructions. Please clearly write your RA number on a label and attach it to the outside of the shipping carton. Do not write directly on the box.
Laser or toner cartridges being returned must include a printed sample (no exceptions). If not supplied, we cannot process your return.
Once we receive and inspect the item, and if it meets return conditions, a credit will be issued. If you need a replacement, it must be ordered separately. This process can take up to 2–3 weeks depending on the nature of the return.
Returns due to change of mind or ordering error may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Items older than 60 days from the invoice date will not be accepted for return.
Dead on Arrival (DOA) Products
If an item arrives DOA, please contact our Returns Team within 7 days of receiving the item. Provide your order number, serial number, and a brief description of the issue. Proof of purchase will be required. We’ll issue an RA number and arrange the next steps. If a returned item is found not to be faulty, a no-fault fee of $100 may apply.
Returns Authorisations
You are responsible for ensuring goods are safely returned to us. Replacements, if applicable, will be sent out at our expense after return inspection and approval.
Important Notes

- Claims for missing or damaged items must be lodged within 2 working days of receipt.
- Goods must be packed securely to avoid damage in transit.
- No returns will be accepted without prior approval and an issued RA number.
